DAY 1: After the arrival in Bologna, guided walking tour through the city historical centre streets, admiring the city’s main attractions. An opportunity to discover some of the picturesque squares and beautiful buildings on this half day tour in the capital city of Emilia Romagna. At the end of the tour, free time to relax and take a real italian aperitif. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 2: Motor Valley experience day! The adventure in the Ferrari’s world begins with the entrance at Ferrari Museum in Maranello, an exhibition of legendary past cars and prototypes for the future, an absolute “wonderland” for car lovers. After the visit, enjoy a 30’ test drive on the road, feeling the thrill of speed on one of the most famous Reds in the world. Lunch and guided tour in one of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar cellars & wineries in the stunning hills of Modena, tasing of Aceto Balsamico di Modena. Comeback to Bologna and free evening.
DAY 3: Emilian Gourmet Tour Day (choice between Parma and Modena). The tour will start form the King of Cheeses, Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, visiting a diary and learning this products’ origins, created by the “casaro” (cheese maker), in a full-artisanal way. The journey will continue visiting one of the greatest Ham producers of the area, following the whole production process. The tour will be topped by a delicious lunch with includes genuine local products. In the afternoon, free time to discover Modena or Parma historical centre (it depends on which city you chose). Comeback to bologna by regional train and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4: A few hours to fully enjoy Bologna. Meeting with a local chef at the historical market of Bologna, where there will be a visit to discover local products. A cooking class will follow, for learning how to male delicious local specialties, and the icing on the cake: a gourmet lunch with what has been prepared while drinking delicious wine from the hills of Bologna.
