FIRST DAY: Arrival in Reggio Emilia and settling into the hotel. Welcome lunch in a typical bistro. In the afternoon Italian course to immerse yourself as much as possible in the Italian language and culture. Two hours in class and another two hours in town to put into practice what was learned in class. The opportunity will be taken to admire the beauty of Reggio Emilia’s historic center. Typical dinner in a downtown restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
SECOND DAY: Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Reggio Emilia for the province of Parma. Free morning visit to the imposing Torrechiara Castle. You will then discover the secrets of the famous Prosciutto di Parma, with a tasting of different ages. After lunch, arrival in Parma and tour of its fascinating historic center. Free dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
THIRD DAY: Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to an acetaia to see the production and taste Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Afterwards, visit to the historic center of Modena. Free lunch. In the afternoon, visit to the new Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum and the Ferrari Maranello Museum: discover legendary cars from the past and impressive prototypes for the future. Back in Reggio Emilia, typical Emilian dinner in one of the iconic local restaurants and awarded a Michelin star. Overnight stay at the hotel.
FOURTH DAY: Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Bologna, which you will reach using the high-speed train, leaving from Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana station. We suggest discovering both the “gourmet” side of Bologna, focusing on the market area, and the more cultural side, with its perfectly preserved historic center. Return to Reggio Emilia, gourmet dinner in a downtown restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
FIFTH DAY: Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit to a producer of Parmigiano-Reggiano and tasting of different ages. Lunch at the restaurant of one of Reggio Emilia’s most famous and well-known chefs.
