DAY ONE: Arrival and visit to a wonderful farm in the city’s foothills. Here you will discover the secrets of two excellent products: the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia, which is aged for at least twelve years in the attics of the vinegar cellars, and the famous Lambrusco, a wine typical of this area but now known throughout the world. The visit will end with a tasting of both products.

In the afternoon, visit to the historic center of Reggio Emilia, starting from Piazza Prampolini: the Cathedral stands near the Baptistery and City Hall, with the Tricolor Room, where the Italian flag was born in 1797. Then, the Basilica of San Prospero, the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Ghiara with Guercino’s Crucifixion, the unmissable Municipal Theater and Palazzo Magnani.

SECOND DAY: Breakfast at the hotel and visit to a cheese factory to learn about Parmigiano-Reggiano, the King of Cheeses.
