“FROM PEACKS …”

Day 1:

• Arrival in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, check-in and hotel accomodation
• Self-guided e-bike excursion to Pietra di Bismantova, a huge and impressive rock formation in Castelnovo ne’ Monti. With its 300 metres, it’s known for its characteristic “plank” shape and it was a source of inspiration for artists and poets, including Dante Alighieri.
• Return to the hotel; half board service and overnight stay in the Apennines-Reggio Emilia area

Day 2:

• Breakfast at the hotel/farmhouse and self-guided transfer to Reggio Emilia
• Visit to the Dairy of the Red Cow Consortium with final tasting of 3 seasonings of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO. Parmigiano-Reggiano, one of the oldest cheeses ever known, is made in the same way as eight centuries ago and with the same ingredients, the same technique and the same craft care. It is the “cheesemaker” who with his hands, sensitivity and experience creates the form (“wheel”).
• Free lunch in the surroundings (We invite you to visit the historic center of Reggio Emilia) 
• In the afternoon trekking between Via Matildica del Volto Santo and Sentiero Spallanzani accompanied by a licensed GAE and with a snack stop at a Vacche Rosse Consortium’s farm
• Return to the hotel; half board service and overnight stay in the Apennines-Reggio Emilia area

“… TO PO RIVER”

Day 3:

• Breakfast at the hotel/farmhouse and transfer to Boretto on your own
• Boat excursion on the Po River. During the navigation, the guide will tell stories and curiosities about the Po. It will be an opportunity to admire the scenic wonders of the “great river” directly from the water: the fauna’s variety, the striking colours of the vegetation and the sounds of an almost untouched nature.
• During the excursion, disembark on wild beach to totally enjoy the river environment and the special natural surroundings.
• On the beach, lying on top of simple blankets, you can then enjoy a genuine aperitif with your feet in the sand.
• After a moment where you can take souvenir photos, boarding and navigation back to Boretto.
