DAY ONE: Departing from San Benedetto Po, we follow the bicycle-hiking route along the Po until we reach Guastalla.
You leave San Benedetto following the straight stretch leading to the small embankment, following the cycle-pedestrian-naturalistic route to Portiolo. Here you find the main embankment again, skirting the villages of Villa Saviola and Motteggiana. Two kilometers after passing under the road bridge over the Po at Zaragnino, you leave the embankment in the direction of Tabellano. It climbs back onto the main embankment in the direction of Luzzara. Only a few kilometers to reach the destination: Guastalla, the small capital of the Gonzaga family.

SECOND DAY: Breakfast at the hotel and guided tour of Guastalla.

In the afternoon excursion to discover the final stretch of the Crostolo stream. Places rich in flora, fauna and history where the famous naïve painter Antonio Ligabue lived. An adventure to discover the nature of the Po and its landscapes. An expert guide will accompany us among small beaches and hidden places, completely immersed in the engaging atmosphere of the “Bassa”.

THIRD DAY: Breakfast at the hotel. We leave the small capital of the Gonzaga family to head toward Reggio Emilia, the city where the Tricolor was born, following the axis of the stream.
From Guastalla, continue south following the bank of the Crostolo Torrent, passing the village of Santa Vittoria and taking the dirt road of Via Fornaci. You then reach first the locality of Pieve Rossa and then Bagnolo in Piano. From here you take the narrow Via Pioppa at the southern edge of the town, which leads into the countryside to the gates of Reggio Emilia, where you first encounter the Mediopadana Station designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava.
