DAY 1: After the arrival in Bologna, guided walking tour through the city historical centre streets, admiring the city’s main attractions. An opportunity to discover some of the picturesque squares and beautiful buildings on this half day tour in the capital city of Emilia Romagna. At the end of the tour, free time to relax and take a real italian aperitif. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 2: Discover Ravenna, known all over the world as the capital of mosaic, though a half day private guided tour. This charming town on the Adriatic coast preserves an exceptional artistic heritage, thanks to its past that has seen it as the protagonist go crucial and important historical events: the traces of this past are in the wonderful ancient buildings and in its eight UNESCO monuments. Ravenna is also the city of Dante Alighieri, the major italian poet and the father of the italian language. At the end go the visit, free time to have lunch and relax. Comeback to Bologna and free night
DAY 3: New discovering day in Romagna! Free time to discover the small medieval village of Brisighella, placed on the list of the “Most Beautiful Villages of Italy”. Walk in the characteristic “Donkey Alley”, strongly linked to the local history. After the walk, light lunch and the opportunity to taste the Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP “Brisighello” and products from a local farm. In the afternoon visit to the medieval village of Dozza, one of the hundred “Most beautiful villages in Italy”, a little jewel in the hills of Imola. Comeback to Bologna and free evening.
DAY 4: A few hours to fully enjoy Bologna. Meeting with a local chef at the historical market of Bologna, where there will be a visit to discover local products. A cooking class will follow, for learning how to male delicious local specialties, and the icing on the cake: a gourmet lunch with what has been prepared while drinking delicious wine from the hills of Bologna.
