Between the Cisa and Forbici passes, nestled in the craggy woods separating Tuscany from Emilia, lies an authentic mountain environment waiting to be explored.
You will start the day with a climbing lesson at the Pietra di Bismantova, led by an expert Alpine Guide. It is designed for everyone, depending on your needs: from beginners who want to approach rock climbing, learning the basics of progression technique, to intermediate and expert climbers who want to improve their skills. You will learn how to balance on your feet, how to read the rock and how to plan effective motor patterns for climbing.
You will be taught safety manoeuvres, how to tie knots, use the rope and brakes correctly (such as the Grigri), and recognise potentially dangerous situations due to incorrect use of equipment. All this will be learnt directly in the field, with a gradual teaching method, in the splendid setting of the Pietra di Bismantova, symbol of sport climbing in Emilia Romagna.
The experience will end with a delicious typical lunch at a local refuge or agriturismo, thus completing this unforgettable mountain adventure.
A journey that combines the physical challenge with the discovery of the wilderness and the tasting of local flavours, allowing you to get closer to the uncontaminated beauty of the Apennine mountains at every turn.
